Willett Family estate bourbons are among the most exclusive whiskies available. Made from Willett’s original mashbill of 72% maize, 13% rye, and 15% malted barley, the exceptional 6 Year Old Barrel Bourbon is matured for six years in carefully chosen white oak barrels on the top level of the rickhouse in the family cellars in Kentucky. This Bourbon, which has a delicious 123.3 Proof, will be a little hot, but it won’t obscure its incredibly nuanced and deep flavor, which will get even more pronounced with a little water.

Notes on Tasting

Corn sweetness will greet you on the scent, followed by dark brown sugar, chocolate, root beer float, orange peel, cherry syrup, and wood. It has a lot of cinnamon, wood char, syrup, black cherries, vanilla, black pepper, and burnt sugar on the palate, making it extremely hot and spicy.
