The massive caissons of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building, and the 27,000-ton pedestal of the Statue of Liberty are just a few of the iconic buildings in New York that were built on limestone from this quarry.

The enormous underground caves are where this self-renewing water source gathers after being organically filtered via limestone.
