Beyond only bourbon, Saint Cloud Bourbon serves as a link between the whiskey and art industries. Their X Series, which includes experimental whiskeys with designs by international artists, is the best example of this. The quantity of each batch that is released is limited. Finished in well chosen French charred oak casks, Abstrakt 2 is a wheated, pot-distilled bourbon that was aged for about nine years. Before being bottled at 110 percent, the barrel spent the final few months of its life in the distillery’s hottest section. Christopher “Flore” Florentino, an artist from New York City, created the artwork that adorns the bottle.
