About Freeland Spirits Bourbon Whiskey
2018 saw the debut of Freeland Bourbon in November. Made from a high corn mash consisting of 70% corn, 20% rye, and 10% malted barley, this bourbon is combined into a small batch of 12-year bourbon as it is aged for five months in Elk Cove pinot noir barrels. This is the future of Freeland whiskey.
With its enticingly delicate aromas of caramel, vanilla, and spices that dance into the whiskey from charred American oak barrels, Freeland Bourbon is a tribute to the South. A final rest in Elk Cove Pinot Noir barrels in Oregon gives a touch of terroir from the Pacific Northwest. meticulously blended by Molly Troupe, our Master Distiller, to produce a harmonious blend of tastes and a balanced texture. freeland dry gin
