Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Scotch Whisky
“To first become a Chivas Regal blender, you have to spend time with your master blender and many whiskies to understand our unique style of blending,” Scott explains. “Each Chivas Brother blender forms part of a chain, which stretches right back to the creation of James and John Chivas’ first luxury blended whisky.”
The best Scotch whiskies, all aged for at least 25 years, are combined to create the rare and special Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky. Each bottle is authenticated by its unique number and is only available as a limited release. The gorgeous gold color of the whisky is accompanied by tempting fruity scents of nuts, marzipan, and sweet orange and peach. The palate finishes round and opulent with notes of fondant creaminess and rich, subtle chocolate orange.

Concerning Chivas scotch
In 1801, Chivas Brothers opened a luxury grocery store in Aberdeen, Scotland, which is where Chivas Regal got its start. The business catered to its affluent audience by selling French brandies and Caribbean rums in addition to fine dining, coffee, and spices. Chivas Brothers, widely regarded as Scotland’s best purveyors, received a royal warrant in 1843 to supply Queen Victoria with goods.
When James and John Chivas joined the family business in the middle of the 19th century, they saw that their wealthy clientele was becoming more and more interested in smoother whisky. James and John, who were dissatisfied with the products that were on the market at the time, started experimenting with their own proprietary blends and soon established themselves as pioneers in the whisky mixing industry. In the 1850s, the pair created their first blend, Royal Glen Dee, then Royal Strathythan shortly after. Both were as launching pads for Chivas Regal’s subsequent productions.
Strathisla Distillery in Speyside, Scotland is now home to Chivas Regal. The Chivas Brothers legacy, which dates back almost two centuries, is carried on there by Master Distiller Colin Scott, who has over 40 years of experience in the field. Scott combines dozens of different single malt whiskies made at the Strathisla Distillery to create Chivas Regal’s distinctive smoothness, which results in a scotch that is superior to the sum of its parts.
