Ardbeg Drum Limited Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The MacDougall Family established Ardbeg Distillery in 1815, and it is located on the island of Islay’s southern shore. The distillery, which became infamous for making some of the strongest and most robust Scotch whisky in the business, employed almost one-third of the island’s inhabitants at the end of the 19th century. The distillery is still a living example of Scottish ingenuity and tradition today drum limited edition Islay single.
Malted barley that has been peated to about 50 phenol parts per million is used to make Ardbeg Single Malt Scotch Whisky. When the peated barley reaches the distillery, it is crushed and ground with water from Loch Uigeadail and then fermented in Oregon pine washbacks. Wooden washbacks absorb some of the heat produced during fermentation, making the whisky lighter and richer, but they are more costly and more difficult to maintain than stainless steel washbacks. Furthermore, the whisky receives carbolic chemicals from the wooden washbacks limited edition Islay single malt.
Following fermentation, which lasts for 55 hours, the wash is distilled twice, first through a copper-pot wash still and then again through a copper-pot spirit still. The spirit still is equipped with a purifier, which acts as small condenser and causes a portion of the evaporating vapors to be pumped back into the pot and then re-distilled. This purification process, which is rare in the industry, results in whisky that has a signature fresh and malty flavor edition Islay single malt scotch.
The final day of the Feis Ile Festival, a festival where islanders turn everything on wheels into spectacular floats, served as the inspiration for this Islay jewel. Ardbeg Drum is an Ardbeg Scotch whisky made from Bourbon casks that have been aged in American rum casks, creating an absolutely amazing array of scents.

Notes of chocolate, fresh ginger, baking spice, and lavender follow scents of pine, smoke, ripe bananas, and pineapple. Notes of clove licorice, ginger, crushed pepper, dark chocolate, and vanilla are all present on the taste. This is a very fruity and smokey dram.
