About Rabbit Hole Cavehill Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Kaveh Zamanian founded Rabbit Hole Distilling, which creates an exquisite selection of spirits that have won awards. Their distillery is located just a few blocks away from their custom-built 24-foot Vendome Copper & Brass still, but their 100% Kentucky-made Bourbon and Rye whiskeys are tailored to provide a distinctive sipping experience.
Their very own blend of specially chosen grains, which are mashed and fermented at just the right temperatures to retain specific flavors and aromas, is used to create their first barrel, which is then meticulously distilled. This Kentucky Straight bourbon whiskey, rabbit hole cavehill kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, is matured in #3 wood-fired barrels constructed from four grains and produced by the Scottish-born Kelvin Cooperage.
Rabbit Hole’s Cavehill is bottled at 47.5% ABV and has a mash bill of 70% corn, 10% malted wheat, 10% honey malted barley, and 10% malted barley. A four-grain mash promises notes of spice, nectar, and crisp apple wind. Remarkably mature whiskey, this one has custardy notes in the end, vanilla on the front, and spiciness up front. In the 2017 New York Wine & Spirits Competition, Rabbit Hole Kentucky Straight Bourbon took home the Gold medal and the title of “Best Straight Bourbon“.
