Parker’s Heritage Collection 16th Edition Double Barreled Blend Kentucky Straight Burbon Whiskey
Rickhouse II distilled the 15-year-old bourbon in 2007. The mash bill for each is the same: 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. The complex tastes and aromas of wood and spice were preserved when the finished blend was non-chill filtered at 132.2 proof and bottled uncut. “A masterful pairing of two uniquely aged products that create the perfect balance of flavors which, we believe, honor the past and are a fitting tribute to Parker and his legacy,” Vice President Susan Wahl stated when the product was released.

Notes on Tasting
The smells of cherry, caramel, honey, marshmallow, and intriguing oak greet the nose as it opens. Dark fruit, berries, vanilla, spice, and a hint of leather abound on the palate. The aftertaste has a hint of black cherry, baking spices, and charred wood.
