ole smoky moonshine pickles
The State of Tennessee changed its regulations in 2009, permitting the production of moonshine for the first time in more than a century. Joe Baker co-founded ole smoky distillery in Tennessee, and since then, the company has produced a variety of ole smoky moonshine flavors, over a dozen whiskies, and ready-to-drink cocktails in cans.
The Ole Smoky family, who pride themselves on being Appalachian by birth, were among the first to enter the Smoky Mountains. They use age-old whiskey-making techniques to create their whiskeys. Baker quickly began creating unique, mountain-made moonshine once Tennessee’s state legislation changed to allow for the distillation of spirits. This made Ole Smoky the first distillery in East Tennessee history to receive a federal license.
Mango Habanero, Cinnamon, Root Beer, Peach, Peanut Butter, Vanilla Bean, Cookies & Cream, and a number of other styles are among their whiskey offerings. There are also jars of vegetables and fruit that have been soaked in their moonshine. Pickles, Peaches, and Cherries That Shine in the Moonlight!
