It is a delicious, well-balanced whisky that has a hint of spice and sweet fruit and citrusy scents. There are notes of cinnamon, coffee cake, almonds, dried fruit, and cherry jam on the palate bourbon and sherry casks.

Concerning The Glenlivet Scotch

Illegal distilleries were widespread in Scotland’s Speyside region in the early 19th century. However, the Excise Act of 1823 was forced through Parliament by Alexander Gordon in 1823. Scotland’s illicit distillers were able to apply for and receive permits to lawfully distill spirits thanks to the Excise Act. The Glenlivet 14 price Distillery was established in 1824 after a businessman by the name of George Smith sought for one of the first licenses in the Scottish district of Speyside. The Glenlivet Distillery has been making the “single malt whisky that started it all” for almost 200 years.
