The Story Behind Clase-Azul Tequila
Tequila ml clase azul is produced in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, where the finest blue agave plants thrive. The brand was founded in 1997 by Arturo Lomelí, who envisioned a tequila that embodied Mexican artistry and tradition. Each bottle is handcrafted by skilled artisans, featuring a distinctive blue and white ceramic decanter that reflects Mexico’s rich cultural heritage.
Why Clase Azul Stands Out
- Handcrafted Bottles: Every Clase-Azul Tequila bottle is a work of art, painted by Mexican artisans.
- Premium Ingredients: Made from 100% organic blue Weber agave, harvested at peak maturity.
- Slow Fermentation & Distillation: Ensures a smooth, refined taste.
Clase-Azul Reposado Tequila: A Masterpiece of Aging
Clase-Azul Reposado Tequila is aged for eight months in oak barrels, giving it a perfect balance of agave sweetness and woody complexity. Unlike añejo tequilas, which age longer, reposado offers a smoother, more approachable flavor profile while retaining the essence of premium blue agave.
Notes tasting

Concerning Clase Azul
The Productos Finos de Agave at Nom 1416, located in the Jesus Maria neighborhood of Arandas in the Los Altos Highlands region of Mexico, is where Clase Azul is made. Santa Maria Canchesdá is a small village that produces the premium, 100% genuine tequila known as Clase Azul. Each bottle is painstakingly handmade by more than 100 Mexican artisans.
100% organic Tequilana Weber Blue Agaves are used to make Clase-Azul tequilas. The only agave species that makes tequila is this one, which was selected from over 200 breeds. After the agave is collected, Clase Azul cooks it for 72 hours in traditional brick ovens. A unique brand of yeast is added after the cooked piñas have been pulverized. Before the resulting spirit is painstakingly twice-distilled with great care to ensure the best quality spirit, this liquid is allowed to ferment.
