Booker’s Annis Answer Batch Small Batch Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey
Booker Noe, Jim Beam’s grandson, is honored with the name of the Booker’s brand of whiskey. Noe first bottled the bourbon, which was made from a mash made mostly of corn, to give as presents to close friends and family. The bourbon is now aged in virgin American oak casks located in the middle of a Kentucky rickhouse, where the humidity and temperature are ideal for whiskey maturation.
Booker Noe’s wife, who he first met while she was a hygienist at the dentist’s office, is honored with the name of Booker’s “Annis’ Answer” Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. In honor of Booker and Annis Noe’s 60th anniversary, the distillery has released this mix.
“This batch is a blend of barrels from four different dates stored in five different casks, ranging from six years and two months to seven years and one month old,” Booker’s son, Fred Noe, explained. The distinctive vanilla scent of Booker’s Annis Answer Batch Small Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is followed by a mildly smokey flavor profile of caramel, oak, and nuts. With hints of cinnamon, the long and rich finish warms the throat while still being delicate enough to drink easily.
Booker’s received a score of 90-95 points from Wine Enthusiast and won the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2006, 2007, and 2009. “This is whiskey the old-fashioned way. “The way it was supposed to be,” Booker says. Get a bottle of this unique batch now!
